TexShare databases

The Legislative Reference Library serves as a TexShare access point for members of the legislative community. TexShare, a program of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, provides access to commercial online research products. TexShare databases provide accurate, authoritative, and commercial-free resources to patrons at public, academic, and state agency libraries throughout Texas.

Strict licensing agreements prohibit the Legislative Reference Library from offering free TexShare access through a non-restricted website. However, access to TexShare databases is available to anyone who visits a public, academic, or state agency library in Texas.

Capitol Complex users can click here to obtain access using a password.

The Legislative Reference Library is located on the second floor of the State Capitol building in Room 2N.3. To find out more about the TexShare program, please contact your local public library.
