Bill-chapter/chapter-bill cross reference tables

The bill / chapter cross reference tables have been incorporated into the Legislative Archive System direct search. You will be redirected shortly.

The Legislative Reference Library's Legislative Archive System direct search allow you to convert chapter numbers found in session law citations which appear in large type following the text of each statute in Vernon's Texas Statutes and Codes Annotated to their corresponding bill numbers.

Likewise, if you have a bill number, but not the chapter number, you can use the direct search to make the conversion.

Complete tables from the 19th Legislative session forward are also available. To view a complete table, use the Search by Session Law option on the direct search page. Select a legislative session, leave the chapter box empty, and click on the Search by Chapter button.
