The legislature did not subsequently repeal the authority of the district attorney of the 35th Judicial District to prosecute criminal cases in Coleman County. C.S.H.B. 2937 repeals Section 43.121(b) (duties of the district attorney of the 35th Judicial District), Government Code. RULEMAKING AUTHORITY It is the opinion of the Office of House Bill Analysis that this bill does not expressly delegate any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, department, agency, or institution. SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS SECTION 1. Repealer: Section 43.121(b) (duties of the district attorney for the 35th Judicial District), Government Code. SECTION 2. Effective date: September 1, 1999. SECTION 3. Emergency clause.
