- Resolved by the House, that a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker to investigate the Treasurer's and Comptroller's offices of this State, in response to the message of His Excellency the Governor on this subject, and to act in conjunction with a like committee on the part of the Senate, and that said committee be authorized to send for persons and papers, and to compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of books and papers, and to adopt such rules to effectuate the same, and to employ the necessary accountants to aid the committee in their labors.
- Resolved by the Senate, that a select committee of three be appointed to examine thoroughly into the condition of the office of the Comptroller Accounts and of the Treasurer of the State, and report to the Senate.
