Charges

  • Study and make recommendations for eliminating inefficiencies and improving accountability in state government. The study should include an examination of best practices for purchasing state goods and services and recommend improvements, as needed. The committee's work should include an analysis of the need for additional disclosure requirements to enhance transparency in government contracting. The committee shall also study the advantages and disadvantages of privatization, including a review of previous findings, in order to make policy recommendations, as needed.
