WHEREAS, the House and Senate by Concurrent Resolution have heretofore set aside certain space in the Capitol for use of the two Houses, such space having been made available, or will become available, by virtue of the removal of certain departments and agencies to other quarters; and
WHEREAS, The Legislature is anxious to have made available as rapidly as possible all portions of the Capitol desired by it and suitable to its use, heretofore set aside by Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 7, Fifty-seventh Legislature, or which can be made available to it; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring, That to implement this Resolution the Board of Control be, and is hereby, directed to make available to the Legislature, as quickly as possible prior to the completion of State Office Building No. 2, and as and when in its opinion suitable permanent or temporary space can be found, all or part of the space presently occupied by the following agencies of the Executive Department: the Department of Agriculture, the Board of Pardons and Paroles, and the Comptroller's Department; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the presiding officers of the two Houses shall designate committees or individual Members to work with the Board of Control to accomplish the objectives of this Resolution.
