Whereas, Attention has been called to the condition of certain valuable and historic paintings which hang in the Hall of the House of Representatives and the need for restoration of some of these painting; and
Whereas, There is necessity for giving these paintings and pictures immediate attention in order that they may be properly preserved; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Speaker of the House appoint a Committee of three (3) Members to investigate the conditions of these paintings for the express purpose of determining the paintings that are in need of immediate attention and to take appropriate action for the preservation of said paintings.
