• Investigate the Department of Public Welfare, its officials, agents and employees with reference to and in connection with their administration of the Old Age Assistance in the State of Texas.
• Look into the possibilities of setting up a more efficient and economical system of administering the Old Age Pensions. Investigate the system used in other states in so far as they may do so through correspondence, to investigate the relative cost per capita of administration in this state as compared with other states.
