Charges
- The Committee shall study and monitor the reorganization and consolidation of Health and Human Services Agency.
- The Committee shall study the feasibility of implementing a database to assist in identifying and addressing the needs of sick and disabled children.
- The Committee shall study current laws relating to guardianship and the feasibility of establishing a public guardianship program in Texas. The Committee shall review existing programs, private programs, and offices of public guardianship in other states.
- The Committee shall study current laws relating to involuntary commitment of individuals to institutions.
