State Artist Selection, Special - 65th R.S. (1977)

Charges
• Appoint and designate an outstanding and recognized artist, who is citizen of Texas, as Texas State Artist for the year beginning May 1, 1977, and ending April 30, 1978; and a Texas State Artist of like qualifications shall be designated for the year beginning May 1, 1978, and ending April 30, 1979.

Note:
Appointed by Speaker 4/28/1977 and Lieutenant Governor 4/27/1977, pursuant to SCR 3.
