To monitor all activities and have budget oversight responsibilities for those agencies, boards, and commissions as listed in Rule 3, Section 9.

To study possible cost containment measures for primary and general elections.

To study absentee voting including absentee voting by mail.

To study methods of improving the accessibility of voter registration, and means by which the timeliness of updating and the accuracy of voter registration lists can be improved.
