- Visit the North Texas Lunatic Asylum, at Terrell, Texas, and examine its condition, and report to each House upon what is necessary in the way of appropriations and otherwise for and in behalf of said institution.
- Visit the asylum at Terrell and report as early as practicable the condition of said asylum, its capacity for the accommodation of the insane, and whether it has been constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications for said building, and what further improvements, if any, are necessary to render said asylum ready for the reception and treatment of lunatics.
