• Examine the Capitol grounds and estimate the probable amount of money to remove the debris, to grade, level, terrace, plant, ornament, and fence the grounds.*
• Inquire into and make estimate of the probable amount of money necessary to adequately furnish the new Capitol building; also the amount necessary to keep the same in proper repair and order.*
