To study the transportation of hazardous materials into the state, jointly with the Committee on Science and Technology.

To describe in quantitative terms the importance and benefits of Texas' public transit systems, to describe the needs of Texas' transit systems over the next four years, and to suggest appropriate roles for the State of Texas in fostering the continued development of its public transit systems.*

To study the state's role in aviation.*
