SB 25 Caption: Relating to authorizing the establishment of residential hospital institutions for severely physically handicapped persons under the jurisdiction of the Board for Texas State Hospitals and Special Schools.
SB 27 Caption: Relating to providing a remedy for persons convicted and imprisoned in the penitentiary, who assert that rights guaranteed to them have been denied in the proceedings in which they were convicted, or who assert that their conviction was based in whole or in part, on false or untrue testimony regarding either the issue of guilt or punishment, regardless of whether or not such false or untrue testimony was unintentionally given.
SB 88 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act providing respective rights, obligations, duties and responsibilities of a city which acquires or has acquired a street transportation system under the law and the employees of the system and their collective bargaining agents; prescribing methods of settling disputes; prohibiting such employees from engaging in a strike or concerted stoppage of work.

SB 105 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act providing that recipients of Aid to the Needy Blind may own or use certain real and personal property as a home, exempting the proceeds of the conversion of real property to personal property for one year.
SB 108 Caption: Relating to teacher tenure; providing standards and terms of tenure; providing requirements and procedures for the suspension, dismissal and demotion of teachers; providing for hearings and appeals; providing for illness and leaves of absence; providing for general reduction of salaries and dismissal of teachers; providing for resignations.
SB 109 Caption: Relating to providing that teachers and other employees of the public school system of Texas or state-supported institutions of higher learning shall not be required to participate, nor prevented from participating in political activities at any level; providing that such political activity or failure to participate shall not be considered as a condition of employment, rehire, contract extension or discharge from employment; providing such persons are expressly prohibited from using school time, equipment, or funds for the furtherance of any political group or party.
SB 110 Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Business Corporation Act to provide that a receiver may be appointed for the assets and business of a corporation when it is established in an action by a shareholder that the shareholders are deadlocked in voting power, and have failed for a period which includes at least two consecutive annual meeting dates, to elect successors to directors whose terms have expired or would have expired upon the election of their successors.
SB 123 Caption: Relating to making unlawful certain discriminatory practices in respect to employment because of the ages of the individuals seeking or being in employment, creating and conferring jurisdiction upon the "Division against discrimination" in the Labor Commission of Texas.
SB 167 Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Motor Vehicle Safety-Responsibility Act; exempting certain persons from suspension of drivers' licenses, automobile registrations and non-residents' operating privileges due to non-payment of judgments.

SB 352 Caption: Relating to prohibiting any public official from receiving, or entering into agreements for, compensation or valuable consideration of any kind for services to be rendered in relation to any matter before any state executive agency, unless full disclosure of such transaction is made in sworn written statement to be filed with the Secretary of State; prescribing penalties.
SB 353 Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Liquor Control Act so as to clarify such Act and further regulate and control alcoholic beverages.
SB 386 Caption: Relating to establishing standards of conduct for officers and employees of state agencies, legislators and legislative employees in the area of possible conflict between their private interests and official duties.
SB 387 Caption: Relating to creating the Lobbyist Registration Act, concerning the regulation of persons who for compensation undertake to promote or oppose the passage of legislation by the Legislature or its approval or veto by the Governor.
SB 388 Caption: Relating to establishing a state minimum wage, providing certain exemptions, making employers liable to employees for unpaid minimum wage, prohibiting discrimination against employees for claiming under this Act; providing for enforcement and for penalties.
SB 390 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to allow the Railroad Commission to adopt rules and regulations to govern its proceedings, investigations and hearings and to require it to do so in cases of applications by railroad companies for approval of actions affecting their employees.
SB 402 Caption: Relating to the School Foundation Program, amending certain Acts to provide that a school child who resides within a city which has a public transportation system and such child resides within two miles of the city public transportation system, such child shall be eligible to be transported at State expense if the city public transportation system does not provide bus routes that will transport the child within 1/4 mile of the school he attends, but in no case shall such child be transported at State expense if he resides within two miles of the school he attends.
SB 458 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners Courts of certain population to issue negotiable bonds of such county, and to levy and collect taxes, for the purpose of paying the cost of making any surveys and acquiring any maps and plats which it is authorized to cause to be made.
