SB 1 Caption: General Appropriations Bill for the state government for the biennium beginning September 1, 1961.
SB 10 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act relating to Taxation-General-Motor Fuel Tax pertaining to claimed and unclaimed refunds on motor fuel revenues used for aircraft purposes.
SB 26 Caption: Relating to authorizing and empowering the Board of Regents of the State Teachers Colleges of Texas to levy a regular fixed student fee for the purpose of financing, constructing, operating, maintaining and improving the East Texas State College Union Center Building at the East Texas State College.
SB 31 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act increasing the amounts to be allocated from the Clearance Fund to the Blind Assistance Fund and the Old Age Assistance Fund and allowing certain credits from the first revenues collected to be deposited to these Funds; fixing the operative date of the amendment.
SB 35 Caption: Relating to the salaries of all state officers and employees except the salaries and other compensation of District Judges.
SB 75 Caption: Relating to establishing a Position Classification Plan for certain departments, institutions and agencies of the State, and requiring that all regular, full-time salaried employments shall conform therewith, establishing the office of Classification Officer and describing his duties.
SB 208 Caption: Relating to transferring control and management of East Texas State College from the Board of Regents of the State Teachers Colleges to a new body to be called the Board of Regents of East Texas State College.
SB 209 Caption: Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure and a certain Statute to provide that Jury Commissioners shall receive a compensation of Ten Dollars ($10.) per day or part thereof.
SB 233 Caption: Relating to ratifying, confirming and validating the creation, establishment and boundaries of Fannin County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1, the organization, confirmation election and election of directors for the District and all proceedings relating thereto.
SB 283 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act relating to the beneficiary of a deceased retired Judge shall be paid the difference between the total amount of the contributions made by him and the amount received by him as retirement pay.
SB 313 Caption: Relating to providing for the planning, design, construction and equipping of additional floors for the State Insurance Building and the second State Office Building; providing for the completion and equipping of the State Archives and Library Building; providing funds for such purposes; granting authority for the limited use and improvements on Capitol grounds to provide passageways and walks to new buildings.
SB 322 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute relating to the Texas Commission on Higher Education to clarify powers and duties thereof.
SB 353 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code prohibiting the running at large of livestock; limiting the meaning of the term "running at large"; proving immunity from liability for injuring animals running at large except for gross negligence or wilful intent; providing for enforcement.
SB 412 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute relating to the authority of incorporated cities and towns to utilize eminent domain powers to condemn private property to establish thereon off-street parking for motor vehicles.
SB 436 Caption: Relating to amending the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code to define the terms "Original License", "Application For Original License", and "Grandfather Application"; to declare that retail dealers are affected with a public interest and to empower and direct the Railroad Commission of Texas to promulgate and adopt rules and regulations to assure reasonably adequate service by retail dealers tot he general public.

SB 265 Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Insurance Code so as to authorize the State Board of Insurance to obtain an injunction in the District Court of Travis County, Texas, against any unlicensed corporation, association, partnership, company, firm or person to prevent the violation of any of the Texas insurance laws.
SB 266 Caption: Relating to amending the Insurance Code to provide that agents' licenses shall expire one year from the date of issue, and that an insurance company appointment of such agent will continue in effect until withdrawn and terminated by the company.
SB 387 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code prohibiting the running at large of livestock on designated highways.
SB 407 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes relative to registration of motor vehicles to require valid driver's license to require valid registration and other provisions.
