HB 111 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act providing that the Commissioners Court in all counties of this State may provide fire protection and fire-fighting equipment for the citizens of the county outside of any incorporated city, town, or village therein; to provide that this equipment may be paid for by time warrants.
HB 189 Caption: Relating to establishing a Position Classification Plan for certain departments, institutions, and agencies of the State and requiring that all regular, full-time salaried employments shall conform therewith; establishing in the State Auditor's Office the office of Classification Officer.
HB 718 Caption: Relating to providing for construction of additional floors for the State Insurance Building and the second State Office Building; completion of State Archives and Library Building; granting authority for the limited use and improvements on Capital grounds to provide passageways and walks to new buildings; authorizing the Building Commission to rent unused properties.

HB 44 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation from the General Revenue Fund to the Unemployment Compensation Clearance Account, Fund No. 936, for the purpose of reimbursing the Unemployment Compensation Clearance Account for warrants voided and erroneously transferred to the credit of the General Revenue Fund.
HB 94 Caption: Relating to authorizing the sale or lease of certain tracts of land located in Matagorda County comprising the camp site of Camp Hulen; providing that the governing body of the City of Palacios shall be agent of the State of Texas for the purpose of consummating the sale or lease of such property; providing for the deposit of revenues derived therefrom in the State Treasury for the use and benefit for the Texas National Guard Armory Board.
HB 106 Caption: Relating to entering into the Interstate Employment Security Compact; providing for the designation of this State's member on the Commission created thereby; authorizing and empowering the Commission member appointed by the Governor to represent the State of Texas in carrying out the provisions of this Compact; providing for the administration of the Compact.

HB 1 Caption: Relating to creating a Legislative Expense Fund to provide for the expenses of the 56th Legislature; transferring the unobligated balances in prior appropriations for the expenses of the Fifty-fifth Legislature into the Legislative Expense Fund.
HB 538 Caption: Relating to regulating the size and taking of certain fish in the waters of this State; providing a penalty for violation of this Act.
HB 641 Caption: Relating to regulating the sale of shellfish, authorizing the State Commissioner of Health to declare polluted areas from which shellfish may not be taken for the purpose of sale and to establish rules and regulations fixing standards of sanitation in the handling of shellfish; making certain acts unlawful and fixing penalties for violation.
HB 682 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Librarian to dispose of any records of the State of Texas legally in his custody that are more than ten (10) years old which he shall determine to be valueless to the State of Texas as official records.
HB 715 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts by providing that the members of the Board of Directors of the Jackson County Water Control and Improvement District Number One may receive the same fees of office as directors of similar districts.
HB 735 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to authorize the expenditure from unobligated pre-existing appropriations out of the State Building Fund of an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty Five Thousand Dollars ($135,000) for the purpose of furnishing and equipping the Supreme Court Building and for moving certain judicial agencies to said building.

HB 192 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code so as to permit the use of shrimp trawls in certain waters in Jackson County and Calhoun County when used for the purpose of taking shrimp for bait.
HB 622 Caption: Relating to authorizing the annexation to any drainage district heretofore or hereafter organized under Section 52, Article III of the Constitution of Texas which lies wholly within one county and has no outstanding bonds and has not theretofore been converted into a conservation and reclamation district, of territory contiguous to the district and lying wholly within the same county but outside of any other drainage district and outside of any incorporated city, town, or village.
HB 911 Caption: Relating to creating Matagorda County Water Control and Improvement District No. 5, a Conservation and Reclamation District.
