HB 80 Caption: Relating to amending sections of the Election Code of the State of Texas so as to eliminate provisions for alternate methods of marking ballots and so as to provide that the scratch method shall be the method for marking ballots; changing certain provisions relative to voting for write-in candidates.
HB 81 Caption: Relating to providing that time engaged in extended active military service of the armed forces of the United States or of the Armed Force Reserve of the United States, or of any branch or component part of such armed forces or Armed Force Reserve, or the United States Maritime Service or the United States Merchant Marines, shall be counted and applied as teaching experience in computing a teacher's minimum base pay.
HB 82 Caption: Relating to defining the judicial districts in this State and making provisions concerning their jurisdiction, terms, officers, and other matters relative to the business and functioning of the district courts.
HB 83 Caption: Relating to amending the Foundation School Program At so as to authorize county and district boards of school trustees to furnish transportation to handicapped children and to permit the payment of transportation costs by the State; defining handicapped children; fixing the operative date of this Act.

HB 896 Caption: Relating to fishing in Milam County; relating to legalizing the use of gill nets in Milam County for the purpose of taking rough fish; providing the effect of this Act on other laws and repealing laws in conflict.
HB 897 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide for the payment of an increased pension to Confederate Veterans.
HB 906 Caption: Relating to creating a conservation district in Milam County for preservation of minnows; making it unlawful for any person to take minnows from the public waters of said district or transporting same outside of said district for the purpose of sale; providing a penalty for violation thereof; containing a saving clause.
HJR 37 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to the Constitution of the State of Texas, amending Article III, section 51a, so as to remove the restriction on the total amount of money which may be expended out of State funds for assistance to the needy aged, needy blind, and needy children.

HB 117 Caption: Relating to amending House Bill No. 6, Chapter 492, Acts of the Fifty-second Legislature, Regular Session, 1951; relating to form of ballot.
HB 316 Caption: Relating to providing for and regulating the issuance of interest-bearing time warrants by school districts for the purpose of repairing and renovating school buildings, purchase of schoolroom and athletic equipment, equipping school properties with necessary heating, water, sanitation, lunchroom and electric facilities, and living accommodations for teachers, or payment of indebtedness incurred in carrying out any of such purposes.
HB 607 Caption: Relating to providing that time engaged in active military service of the armed forces of the United States or of the Armed Forces Reserve of the United States, or of any branch or component part of such armed forces or Armed Force Reserve, or the United States Maritime Service or the United States Merchant Marines, shall be counted and applied as teaching experience in computing a teacher's minimum base pay, if such person enters or returns to the teaching profession within one (1) year after discharge or release from such active military services.
HB 808 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by requiring the Railroad Commission to see that railroads maintain certain schedules.
HB 809 Caption: Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure of Texas, so as to provide a minimum and maximum pay for jurors to be determined by the Commissioners Court.
HB 869 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to provide for the payment of an increased pension to each married Confederate Veteran who is living with his wife.
HB 875 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to provide for the payment of an increased pension to any Confederate Veteran or widow who is drawing a pension and who has a dependent child.

HB 66 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts relative to the Texas Prison Board.
HB 592 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to prescribe the methods, conditions and circumstances under which members of the armed forces of the United States may secure an extension of drivers' license; providing for a termination of these circumstances and conditions.
HB 597 Caption: Relating to providing for the method of payment by employer to employee of wages by check or draft; prescribing facilities for payment without charge, discount or deduction; defining terms "employer" and "employee"; providing a penalty; establishing venue of suits for violations; providing attorney's fees; designating Commissioner of Labor Statistics as enforcement agency.
HJR 28 Caption: Proposing an amendment relating to the number of Senators and Representatives in the Legislature; and relating to the apportionment of Representatives in the Legislature of the State of Texas; providing that the House of Representatives shall consist of ninety-three (93) members and may be increased under certain conditions.
HJR 30 Caption: Proposing an Amendment providing for assistance to citizens of Texas who are residents of the State of Texas and who are needy aged persons over the age of sixty-five (65) years, needy blind persons over the age of sixteen (16) years, and on behalf of needy children under the age of sixteen (16) years; limiting the maximum payment of Old Age Assistance to a needy individual to Twenty-Five ($25) Dollars per month from State Funds; providing for the acceptance of financial aid from the Government of the United States for such assistance.

HB 231 Caption: Relating to providing that wild fox may be taken or killed at any time in Robertson County and providing that the hides and pelts thereof may be sold, repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict.
HB 406 Caption: Relating to requiring all section, bridge and building, and maintenance of way motor cars operated by any railroad in this State to be equipped with electric head lamps and rear lamps; providing a penalty; providing for an injunction; providing that if any section, sentence or clause shall be declared invalid, other sections or parts of the Act shall not be affected thereby.
HB 975 Caption: Relating to creating a conservation district in Robertson County for the preservation of minnows; providing penalty for violation thereof; containing a saving clause.
HJR 23 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to Article III of the Constitution of the State of Texas by authorizing Legislature to enact laws enabling public schools to provide Workmen's Compensation Insurance for public school employees.
HJR 25 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to Article III of the Constitution of the State of Texas providing that the Legislature shall have the power to provide, under such limitations and restrictions and regulations as may be deemed by the Legislature expedient, for assistance to needy physically or mentally handicapped individuals who are not eligible for Old Age Assistance, Aid to the Needy Blind, or Aid to Dependent Children; and providing for the necessary proclamation, publication, and election.

HB 74 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, relating to distribution of transportation funds to the school districts of Texas qualifying under the Minimum Foundation School Fund.

HB 101 Caption: Relating to amending to provide additional duties of the Tax Assessor and Collector or his deputy whenever any tax is paid; requiring that on every tax receipt given by him said receipt shall state that all taxes for all previous years due against all the property as listed on the receipt on which taxes are being paid by the property owner or taxpayer are either paid or delinquent.
HB 155 Caption: Relating to repealing certain Acts relative to certain mutual insurance companies; providing certain penalties.
HB 186 Caption: Relating to defining Farm Mutual Insurance Companies; providing hazards against which they may write insurance; providing that unconstitutionality of any part of this Act shall not affect the remainder thereof.
HB 187 Caption: Relating to amending to provide that it shall not be unlawful for any person to catch, trap, shoot, or kill any wild fox in Robertson County, but making it a misdemeanor to sell or to offer to sell the pelt or pelts thereof two (2) years after the effective date of this Act and providing a penalty; providing that it shall not be unlawful for any person to shoot, kill, or to set a steel trap, snare, or deadfall for the purpose of taking any other furbearing animal in Robertson County, Texas, nor to sell the pelt or pelts thereof.
HB 404 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, relating to the compensation to be paid to jurors.
HB 498 Caption: Relating to authorizing landowners or co-landowners, owning land adjacent to highways, and the State Highway Commission, to contract and plant trees on the right-of-ways of the highways of this State; providing a repealing clause.
HB 765 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, to provide that the State Bar Examination be given to any Veteran of World War II, provided such person holds a bachelors degree and served in the Texas Legislature.
HB 809 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, adding a new Section to provide that corporations may be created for the purpose of owning, operating and maintaining dehydrating plants and dehydrating blending plants for certain purposes.
HJR 31 Caption: Relating to proposing a constitutional amendment to provide that the Legislature shall have the power to provide assistance to and provide for the payment of same to actual bona fide citizens of Texas who are needy aged persons over the age of sixty-five years, needy blind persons over the age of twenty-one years, and needy children under the age of sixteen years.
HJR 49 Caption: Relating to proposing a constitutional amendment to make the Governor the sole pardoning power of this State, except in cases of treason the Governor may grant reprieves, commutations and pardons with the advice and consent of the Legislature.

HB 131 Caption: Relating to making appropriations for the support, maintenance, and equipment of the Division of Horticulture of the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station of the A&M College of Texas, College Station, Texas, for the two year period beginning September 1, 1945, and ending August 31, 1947, and prescribing certain regulations and restrictions in respect to the expenditure of said appropriations.
