HB 19 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide that any bank or trust company doing business in this State may, at its option, close for general banking purposes on Saturday or on any other weekday and that such day shall be deemed to be a legal holiday for all purposes unless such bank elects to perform limited banking services on such day; defining limited banking services; providing the manner in which such institutions shall designate such day and give public notice thereof.
HB 88 Caption: Relating to amending The Securities Act to provide that the term "security" or "securities" shall not apply to any endowment policy.
HB 89 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes to authorize certain corporations to amend their charters in regard to changing shares of stock with par face value into shares without nominal or par value.
HB 114 Caption: Relating to establishing as a permanent District Court the Special Criminal District Court of Dallas County, heretofore established as a temporary District Court, to be known as the Criminal District Court No. 3 of Dallas County; describing the terms and jurisdiction of the Criminal District Court No. 3 of Dallas County; adjusting the terms, jurisdiction and business of the District Courts of Dallas Count; making necessary appropriations; providing for severability clause; repealing conflicting laws.
HB 272 Caption: Relating to amending the Insurance Code; designating the purpose for which and the manner in which life insurance companies may secure, hold and convey real property; adding thereto subdivision 5 authorizing certain life insurance companies with the prior approval of the Board of Insurance Commissioners, and subject to certain other limitations, to purchase or lease lands and to erect thereon improvements for the production of income; designating such properties located within this State as "Texas Securities".
HB 423 Caption: Relating to changing the name of "Legion State Sanatorium" to Legion Branch of the San Antonio State Tuberculosis Hospital; providing that all laws heretofore or hereafter enacted by the Legislature applicable or relating to "Legion State Sanatorium" shall be applicable and relate to Legion Branch of the San Antonio State Tuberculosis Hospital.
HB 424 Caption: Relating to providing for initial admissions to State Mental Hospitals; providing that findings of Hospital staff be admitted in evidence; providing that notification as to findings be given county court; providing for partial invalidity.
HB 508 Caption: Relating to providing for the filing of an application to prospect land belonging to the State, and the prospect rental payment; providing for the issuance of permits and the term thereof; providing for the filing of an application to lease and the payment therefor and annual rental payments thereafter.
HB 564 Caption: Relating to amending and revising the Laws of Texas relating to Architects and the Practice of Architecture.
HB 587 Caption: Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure to authorize dismissal of misdemeanor criminal actions on court's motion; providing for notice, judgment, refiling.
HB 653 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relating to protected Assignments of Accounts Receivable regardless of whether such accounts are in existence at the time notice of assignment is filed; defining "Account" or "Account Receivable"; providing for the form and filing of notices relating thereto; providing for the filing, cancellation, satisfaction, and release of such notice; and providing the duties and fees of the County Clerk in connection therewith.
HB 835 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes prohibiting the manufacture, sale, or exchange of food to which has been added formaldehyde, boric acid and other mineral acids; excepting the sale of lime or lemon juices under certain circumstances; providing a saving clause.
HB 836 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code, prohibiting the manufacture, sale, or exchange of food to which has been added formaldehyde, boric acid and other mineral acids; excepting the sale of lime or lemon juices under certain circumstances; providing a saving clause.
HB 961 Caption: Relating to creating one additional District Court for Dallas County, Texas; defining its jurisdiction; adjusting the business of the existing District Courts to the business thereof; prescribing the duties of the District Clerk with respect thereto; providing for the appointment of a Judge therefor.
HCR 129 Caption: Suspending the Joint Rules of the Legislature to allow either house to consider H. B. No. 835 and H. B. No. 836 at any time.

HB 632 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to provide for a four year Statute of Limitations for delinquent personal property taxes.

HB 99 Caption: Relating to amending and re-enacting Senate Bill 52, Chapter 19, Acts of the Forty-first Legislature, First Called Session, 1929, creating an advisory civil judicial council to be known as the Texas Judicial Council; adding to its duties a study of courts having criminal jurisdiction, the rules and procedure in criminal trials and appeals and the gathering of statistics and the making of recommendations regarding these procedures; providing that retired judges shall be eligible for membership on the Council.
HB 108 Caption: Relating to creating a special interim committee to make a study of laws of this state relating to crimes and criminal procedures; making an appropriation.
HB 122 Caption: Relating to creating an additional Criminal District Court for Dallas County, Texas; amending certain acts; making an appropriation; providing an effective date.
HB 146 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation for carrying out the provisions of the Adult Probation and Parole Law, for the operation of a paid parole program under the supervision of the Board of Pardons and Paroles; appropriating and providing for an increase in salaries in accordance with any general pay increase for State employees which may be enacted at this Session of the Legislature.
