HB 36 Caption: Relating to declaring public policy and purpose; defining terms; prohibiting certain strikes and picketing; providing for requests for and holding of certification elections to determine collective bargaining representatives; empowering the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics to investigate petitions for and conduct certification elections.
HB 45 Caption: Relating to amending the Election Code of the State of Texas, providing that the name of no candidate shall appear more than once upon the official ballot, except as a candidate for two (2) or more offices permitted by the Constitution to be held by the same person.
HB 116 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to pay the principal of a judgment obtained against the State of Texas in A. Nissen, et al, vs. State of Texas, in the District Court of the 57th Judicial District, Bexar County, Texas, according to the tenor, effect and reading of such judgments; providing that only the principal of such judgment be paid.
HB 118 Caption: Relating to amending the Uniform Traffic Code by providing that any one who drives a motor vehicle in willful disregard of one's own safety or the rights and safety of others in driving at such a speed as to endanger others or obstruct traffic, or failing to control speed of vehicles at intersections to avoid striking other vehicles, persons or fixed objects, etc, shall be guilty of reckless driving.
HB 318 Caption: Relating to authorizing counties to establish the office of public defender; excepting counties less than 250,000 population; providing qualifications; providing for appointment; setting forth duties; providing for expenses and salary; providing for records and reports; making the act cumulative.
HB 432 Caption: Relating to the performance of certain duties of the Judges of the County Courts at Law by the County Judge in counties of five hundred thousand (500,000) or more population; validating such substituted actions; providing for no additional compensation for such acts; declaring this Act cumulative and severable.
HB 659 Caption: Relating to Lobbyist Registration Act, concerning the regulation of persons promoting or opposing the passage of bills or resolutions by the Legislature or Executive approval thereof.
HJR 5 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 2 of Article VI of the Constitution, repealing the provision making the payment of a poll tax a qualification of an elector; requiring the Legislature to pass a general registration law for voters; providing for the necessary election, proclamation and publication by the Governor.

HB 18 Caption: Relating to enacting the Lobbyist Registration Act, concerning regulation of representation of others by any person, firm, partnership, corporation or association for the purpose of directly or indirectly promoting or opposing the passage of bills, amendments or resolutions by the Legislature or promoting or opposing Executive veto or approval of such bills or resolutions, and providing exceptions thereto; prohibiting the influencing of or attempts to influence the actions of members of the Legislature relating to pending or prospective legislation by promise of or payment of money or other thing of value, and prohibiting the receipt or acceptance of any reward or compensation for such purpose.
HB 364 Caption: Relating to amending certain Act so as to include a policy issued to an incorporated city, town, or village, providing that the governing bodies of cities, towns and villages may pay premiums on such policies upon the adoption of a uniform plan.
HB 425 Caption: Relating to repealing certain Acts relating to the loan and sale of investment certificates.
HB 440 Caption: Relating to permitting fistic combat matches, boxing, sparring and wrestling contests or exhibitions between professional boxers or wrestlers of the white race and professional boxers or wrestlers of the negro race.
HB 591 Caption: Relating to authorizing counties of this State to provide for a public defender.
HB 680 Caption: Relating to providing for the recovery of damages for injuries resulting in death; expenses incident to such injuries and death; beneficiaries; parties to action; measure, apportionment and distribution of damages; defenses and time within which the action must be brought; attorneys' fees.
HB 755 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to change the basis of computation of retirement pensions for policemen, firemen and fire alarm operators.
HB 781 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes relative to the filing and recording of instruments of writing, maps and plats, so as to provide the prerequisites for filing, recording and approving maps and plats subdividing or re-subdividing real estate in counties having a population of one hundred and ninety thousand (190,000) or more according to the last preceding or any future Federal Census.
HB 782 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes relative to the authority of Commissioners Courts in counties having a population of not less than one hundred and ninety thousand (190,000) according to the last preceding or any future Federal Census to regulate the construction of roads or streets in subdivisions situated outside of the boundaries of incorporated towns or cities in such counties so as to provide that no map or plat or any such subdivision shall be filed or recorded until approved and authorized by the Commissioners Court; providing that no map or plat of any such subdivision which is situated within five (5) miles of the corporate limits of any incorporated town or city shall be filed or recorded until the same is approved and authorized by both the Commissioners Court and the governing body of such incorporated town or city.
HB 788 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the sale or use of fireworks in counties of this state having populations of more than four hundred and fifty thousand and less than five hundred and fifty thousand persons according to the last preceding federal census, except for certain public displays.
HB 807 Caption: Relating to providing the maximum hours per week for employment of females, providing for premium pay for overtime work for females, providing for enforcement and penalties.
HB 822 Caption: Relating to levying a graduated tax based upon the size of pipelines carrying crude oil, liquid petroleum products, and natural or artificial gas; making an appropriation.

HB 145 Caption: Relating to providing for the construction of small dams in Texas for the conservation of water resources and the alleviation of drought; making an appropriation.

HB 122 Caption: Relating to appropriating money to pay Judge Joe Burkett for services rendered as Special Judge of the criminal District Court of Bexar County, Texas.
HB 129 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the sale, offering or exposing for sale of fireworks; providing exceptions; defining fireworks, and to regulate the manner of using fireworks under certain conditions; providing penalties for the violation of the provisions of this Act.
HB 155 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes to provide maximum weekly workman's compensation benefits at 60% of the average weekly wages of employees, but not more than $30 nor less than $9 per week.
HB 282 Caption: Relating to establishing small claims courts in the several counties of the State of Texas and in cities having a population in excess of 100,000 inhabitants, according to the last preceding Federal census; providing for the administration thereof by the Justices of the Peace and by Judges of the Municipal Courts in cities affected by this Act.
HB 366 Caption: Relating to providing that the Commissioners Court of any county may enter into contracts for the accomplishment of plans and programs for flood control and soil conservation with the Federal Soil Conservation Service, State Soil Conservation Districts, State Extension Service, Conservation and Reclamation Districts, Drainage Districts, Water Control and Improvement Districts, Navigation Districts, Flood Control Districts, Levee Improvement Districts and Municipal Corporations.
HB 416 Caption: Relating to requiring all railroad companies or receivers of any railroad companies to equip cabooses or other cars used as cabooses with electric lights; prescribing a penalty for violation of Act.
HB 528 Caption: Relating to providing that the Official Shorthand Reporter for the County Court at Law No. 1, of Bexar County, Texas, and the Official Shorthand Reporter for the County Court at Law No. 2, of Bexar County, Texas, shall each receive an annual salary of Five Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($5,500); providing for the manner of payment of said salaries and out of what funds.
HJR 20 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to authorize cities, towns, and villages of this State to provide insurance for employees.
HJR 31 Caption: Proposing an amendment to authorize the payment of pensions to Texas Rangers in the service of the State of Texas from 1880 to 1918.
