SB 24 Caption: Relating to requiring mutual assessment life, health and accident insurance companies to conduct business in such manner and form as may be prescribed by the Life Insurance Department of Texas; repealing conflicting laws.
SB 46 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, related to limited capital stock insurance companies, so as to eliminate the provisions limiting such companies to the writing of insurance only on the weekly or monthly premiums plan.
SB 47 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, by authorizing certain life insurance companies to invest not to exceed ten (10%) per cent, of the company's capital, surplus and contingency funds in not more than twenty (20%) per cent of the capital stock of any other insurance company, whose principal business is the reinsurance, either partially or wholly, of risks ceded to it by other life insurance companies; providing a saving clause.
SB 67 Caption: Relating to providing for a more secret ballot in all elections in Texas; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict to the extent of the conflict only.
SB 72 Caption: Relating to making a supplemental emergency appropriation for the Industrial Accident Board for the balance of the fiscal year ending August 31, 1947, being an appropriation in addition to other appropriations heretofore made, and to be available immediately.
SB 73 Caption: Relating to making certain emergency appropriations for the State Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists for the remainder of the current fiscal year ending August 31, 1947.
SB 113 Caption: Relating to creating within the Bureau of Labor Statistics a Division of Industrial and Labor Relations and authorizing the appointment of a Director; providing that if any part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the balance shall be upheld.
SB 126 Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2,500) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to the Texas State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, for stationery, postage, printing, freight, express and drayage, telephone, telegraph, equipment, supplies and maintenance of equipment and office rent for the remainder of the current fiscal year ending August 31, 1947.
SB 152 Caption: Relating to changing the name of the Deaf, Dumb, and Blind Asylum for Colored Youths and Colored Orphans, so as to be hereafter known as Texas Blind, Deaf and Orphan School.
SB 173 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, so as to provide and require all motor bus companies whose operation extends one hundred miles or more to maintain bus depots in certain cities and towns separate and apart from any other business other than another motor bus or transportation business; providing a penalty; providing a saving clause.
SB 242 Caption: Relating to making an appropriating of three hundred dollars ($300.00) to the court of Civil Appeals of the Third Supreme Judicial District at Austin, Texas for the balance of the fiscal year ending August 31, 1947.
SB 264 Caption: Relating to making appropriation for an increase in salaries of state officials and state employees for the period beginning with the effective date of this Act and ending on August 31, 1947.
SB 271 Caption: Relating to providing for the planning, designation, establishment, use, regulation and vacation of controlled access facilities, the acquisition of lands required therefor; the restriction of interactions and control of approaches, the establishment of local service roads; the prohibition of certain acts thereon and provision for penalties thereon; providing a saving clause.
SB 293 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, authorizing a Mutual Life Insurance Company to also issue, combined, or separately, life, health, and accident insurance policies.
SB 294 Caption: Relating to appropriating Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) to the State Banking Department out of the General Revenue Fund supplementing the item of travelling expenses for the Banking Department in certain acts.
SB 337 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, relating to the licensing of insurance agencies; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict; providing a saving clause.
SB 344 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers to expend not exceeding $100,00.00 ($100,000) out of the professional engineer's Fund for the purchase of land and the erection of a building and the purchase and installation of equipment, furniture and furnishings for the biennium ending August 31, 1949.
SB 363 Caption: Relating to granting permission to The Steck Company, a Texas corporation, to bring suit against the State of Texas, in a court of competent jurisdiction in Travis County, Texas, to ascertain and fix the amount, if any, due The Steck Company by reason of the delivery to and the acceptance and use by the State Board of Control of 39,603,690 cigarette stamps belonging to The Steck Company; providing that if any provisions of this Act shall be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions thereof shall not be affected.
SB 401 Caption: Relating to authorizing the creation of the Llano County Independent School District.

SB 61 Caption: Relating to accepting moneys, funds, gifts, or other assets authorized by Federal Statute and tendered to the State of Texas in lieu of taxes as a gift by the Federal Public Housing Authority, or any other Federal Agency and applying to all such tenders, whether made in the past or in the future.
SB 80 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that a department, court, school, or other state agency, may prepare and present pay roll claims in advance of the pay roll period without verification as to services performed, and authorizing the Comptroller to issue warrants in the payment thereof in advance of the due date of said claim.
SB 92 Caption: Relating to directing and authorizing the Comptroller to transfer Eight Hundred Thirty-eight Dollars and Forty-one Cents ($838.41) from the Suspense Fund to the General Revenue Fund; Ninety-one Dollars and Fifty-eight Cents ($91.58) from the National Guard Fund to the General Revenue Fund; and Seven Hundred Twenty-two Dollars and Three Cents ($722.03) from the Unorganized Counties Tax Fund to the General Revenue Fund; and providing that the Comptroller, with the consent and approval of the State Auditor and Efficiency Expert and the State Treasurer, may transfer dormant funds to the General Revenue Fund under certain circumstances.
SB 133 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relating to bonds and insurance policies before a permit or certificate of public convenience may be issued to any motor carrier.
SB 192 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes relating to family group life insurance policies and providing for including on the face of the policy the name and age of each insured, name of beneficiary, amount payable, etc.
SB 243 Caption: Relating to amending statute to provide for assessment and collection of a maintenance tax on gross premiums on all insurers writing title insurance.
SB 270 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State of Texas, any County and any government agency and/or municipality of the State to borrow money and/or receive grants of money from the Federal Works Administrator in accordance with the "War Mobilization and Reconversion Act of 1944" (Public Law 458- 78th Congress) and to borrow and/or receive grants of money from any other Federal Agency now or hereafter to be created.
SB 271 Caption: Relating to giving a method of computing amount in controversy for jurisdictional purposes, where parties properly join in one suit.

HB 38 Caption: Relating to regulating fishing in or on Lake Travis in Travis County and Lake Austin in Travis County, and defining such lakes; providing a penalty.
HB 40 Caption: Relating to providing that corporations organized without capital stock shall have the right to have their charters extended; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.
HB 177 Caption: Relating to appropriating, out of any funds not otherwise appropriated, the sum of One Hundred Seventy-three Dollars and and Sixty-seven Cents ($173.67) in payment of a just, due and unpaid indebtedness of the State of Texas to The Stock Company, Austin, Texas.
HB 223 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to provide for the issuance of a Texas license to non-resident hairdressers and cosmetologists under certain circumstances for a set fee.
HB 231 Caption: Relating to requiring all delinquent tax records to be brought up to date and each year thereafter; delinquent tax records of local taxing units to be filed with the State and County tax assessor and collector who must have them published, either by posting or in a newspaper; repealing all laws in conflict with this Act.
HB 233 Caption: Relating to amending statutes so as to provide for a State Board of Pharmacy; providing qualifications for and methods of filling vacancies on said Board; specifying acts constituting penal offenses; and providing penalties therefor; repealing all laws and parts of law sin conflict with this Act.
HB 302 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by fixing a tax on the admission to theaters.
HB 319 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relative to bonds purchased by the State Board of Education.

HB 416 Caption: Relating to appropriating out of the State Highway Fund Six Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty-one Dollars and Fifteen Cents ($6,151.15) to pay the principal and interest due to John W. Goodrum on that certain judgment rendered in his favor by the Court of Civil Appeals in and for the First Supreme Judicial District of Texas at Galveston on the 8th day of January, 1942, for the principal sum of Four Thousand, One Hundred and Seventy-five Dollars ($4,175), with interest thereon at six (6) per cent per annum from the 1st day of April, 1935.
HB 424 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to provide for the duties of the Texas State Board of Examiners in Optometry; prescribing powers and duties of the Board, etc.
HB 501 Caption: Relating to requiring the Tax Assessor-Collector, on forms furnished by the Comptroller, to make a list, each year, of all real estate within his county exempted from ad valorem taxation, said list to be attached to and made a part of the annual assessment rolls.
HB 552 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by allowing insurance companies to make loans upon oil in place.
HB 553 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes regulating the surplus and contingency reserve requirements of converted mutual assessment life, health and accident insurance companies.

HB 875 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act authorizing the Unemployment Compensation Commission to make certain determinations with respect to seasonal employment; providing the effective date of the Act.
HB 1074 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act prescribing the rate and speed of motor or other vehicles upon the public highways of Texas, and within the corporate limits of an incorporated city or town, and within any town or village not incorporated.

HB 1079 Caption: Relating to providing that the Commissioners Courts in certain counties shall compute and fix the maximum annual salary to be paid an officer named in Section 13 of Chapter 465 of the Acts of the Second Called Session of the Forty-fourth Legislature.
