SB 11 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statues by increasing restrictions at railroad crossings on all vehicles carrying explosive substances or flammable liquids as principal cargo.
SB 65 Caption: Relating to promote safe driving and to remove from the highways the reckless and financially irresponsible drivers by providing for proof of financial responsibility and requiring security of owners and operators of motor vehicles following accidents; defining certain words and phrases; prescribing the duties and vesting power to administer the provisions of this Act in the Department of Public Safety and Texas Highway Department and making appropriation therefor.
SB 361 Caption: Relating to validating City Home Rule Charters voted under certain conditions, the proceedings relating to the adoption thereof, and the election of and assumption of office by new members of the governing body of the city under such charter.
SJR 13 Caption: Proposing an amendment providing therein that bills for raising revenue may originate in the House of Representatives or in the Senate; providing for the Governor's proclamation and submission to the electorate.
51st Regular Session
SB 15 Caption: Relating to providing for the changing of the name of John Tarleton Agricultural College, at Stephenville, Erath County, to the "Tarleton State College", and providing that wherever such name or reference of name appears in the Revised Statutes of Texas, 1925, or any amendment thereto, or in any Acts of any Legislature, passed since the adoption of said Revised Statutes or in any court decisions, shall mean and apply to the new name.
SB 16 Caption: Relating to making appropriations to pay deficiency appropriations granted to the State Soil Conservation Board, to pay the supervisors of soil conservation districts in Texas.
SB 17 Caption: Relating to providing a sanitary and healthful method of wrapping an packaging of straws, tubes, or other similar devices for use of customers in public places; providing a penalty; providing a severance clause.
SB 18 Caption: Relating to providing grants to soil conservation districts; providing for money to be appropriated out of any monies in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
SB 91 Caption: Relating to transfer all the duties of the respective Tax Assessors and Collectors of the counties of Texas to the State Highway Department in administering all the laws of Texas regarding the registration and titling of motor vehicles, trailers, semi-trailers and such other vehicles as are required to be registered before use upon the highways of Texas and in collecting all sales taxes imposed upon the transfer of such vehicles; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict to the extent of the conflict only; and providing a savings clause.
SB 113 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, raising the Highway Commission from a three to a five-man Commission.
SB 114 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, providing that city councils, at their discretion, may require bonds of police officers for the faithful performance of their duties.
SB 215 Caption: Relating to requiring all railroad companies or receivers of any railroad companies to equip cabooses or other cars used as cabooses with electric lights; prescribing a penalty for violatoin of Act; proiding that if any section, sentence, or clause shall be declared invalid by the courts, that other sections or parts of this Act shall not be affected thereby.
SB 295 Caption: Relating to providing for the establishment of a Medical Branch of The University of Texas in Temple or Bell County, Texas; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict with this Act to the extent of such conflict only.
SB 446 Caption: Relating to authorize the increase of licenses to Vocational Nurses in this State by a Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.
SJR 10 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 33 of Article III of the Constitution of the State of Texas by providing therein that bills for raising revenue may originate in the House of Representatives or in the Senate; providing for the Governor's proclamation and submission to the electorate.

HB 4 Caption: Relating to empowering the State Textbook Commission to adopt a multitude list of text books in German and Czech languages and other textbooks for use in high schools.
HB 163 Caption: Relating to providing that counties, cities and towns shall collect an occupation tax on individuals, companies, corporations, or associations owning, operating, managing, or controlling any gas, electric light, electric power, or water works, or water or light plants equal to one-half the occupation tax now levied by the State, or which may hereafter be levied by the State.
HB 183 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the purchase or the contract to purchase any passenger automobiles by any State officials or employees to be paid for out of the funds of the State of Texas, or for any department thereof.
HB 367 Caption: Relating to action on application for pardon.
HB 744 Caption: Relating to providing for procedure in change of venue in felony cases in the discretion of the court, providing for transfer of jury from county to which venue has been transferred to county of original prosecution, providing judge of foreign county shall also proceed to county of original prosecution and preside at the trial of such case.
HJR 3 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 2, Article VI, of the Constitution, repealing the provision making the payment of a poll tax a qualification as a voter.

HB 21 Caption: Relating to requiring individuals or organizations owning, operating, or controlling any gas, electric light, electric power or water works, or water and light plant, located within any town or city in this State, to make quarterly reports to the Comptroller.
HB 22 Caption: Relating to providing that counties, cities and towns shall collect an occupation tax on individuals, companies, corporations, or associations owning, operating, managing, or controlling any gas, electric light, electric power, or water works or water or light plans, equal to one-half the occupation tax now levied by the State, or which may hereafter by levied by the State.

HB 8 Caption: Relating to increasing and providing for an occupation tax based on gross receipts, upon each individual company, corporation, or association engaged in owning, operating, managing, or controlling any gas, electric light, electric power, or water works, or water and light plant, for local sale and distribution in incorporated towns or cities of certain populations within this State and charging for gas, electric lights, electric power or water.
HB 90 Caption: Relating to creating a more efficient road law for Bell County, Texas.

HB 25 Caption: Relating to levying a tax upon all persons, firms, or corporations, who produce or distribute cement in this State.
HB 26 Caption: Relating to levying an occupation tax upon local mutual aid associations; providing certain exemptions.
