SB 84 Caption: Relating to providing for the prevention and control of disease; defining certain terms; giving the State Health Officer and the State Board of Health authority to promulgate orders, rules and regulations for the protection of the public health.
SB 85 Caption: Relating to providing that the scholastic census of Texas shall be taken annually upon a prescribed form by a census trustee whose duties are specific in defining and controlling the taking of census in county line districts.
SB 86 Caption: Relating to providing for the taking of the school census of Texas upon prescribed forms by census trustees for the year 1935-36 and providing that said census shall be added to and deducted from by the names of children who have moved in and are born into the different communities of Texas and deducting therefrom names of children who have moved out or who have died in said communities in texas.
SB 88 Caption: Relating to providing for the grouping of counties which have a small number of common school district scholastics.
SB 109 Caption: Relating to appointment of deputy sheriffs in certain counties.
SB 146 Caption: Relating to creating the Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas; and the Public Safety Commission.
SB 159 Caption: Relating to providing all persons, firms and corporations who are required under existing laws to pay a tax to the State shall keep books and records of such business, and open for inspection by the tax collection officials of the State, and providing a penalty for a refusal to permit an inspection by the tax collection officials of such boards and records.
SB 160 Caption: Relating to penalties for pool selling, bookmaking, or betting on horse racing.
SB 161 Caption: Relating to removal from office of county officers convicted of a felony, or for a misdemeanor involving official misconduct, in any district court of this State, or in any United States court.
SB 162 Caption: Relating to requiring all State officials and employees to make bond payable to the State, and providing the Board of Control shall determine what officials and employees shall make bonds and amounts of such bonds, and providing the Attorney General shall approve such bonds as to form and financial responsibility.
SB 163 Caption: Relating to providing for a surety on a bail bond fo file with the county clerk a sworn inventory setting up certain information concerning his financial responsibility, and requiring the sheriff and constable to carefully examining such inventory filed by such surety, and providing that the sheriff and constable shall be liable on their official bond if a surety is accepted who is not financially responsible for such bond.
SB 164 Caption: Relating to providing for the removal of county and district officers.
SB 220 Caption: Relating to contents of birth certificates.
SB 221 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be the duty of the Comptroller of the State of Texas to notify, immediately, and thereafter, when a new Federal Census is published by the United States Census Bureau, every fee officer in Texas at the beginning of each calendar year the population or voting strength of the county of such officer.
SB 222 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be the duty of the county and district attorney to represent the State in all bond forfeiture cases, and providing that any county and district attorney who does not prosecute such proceedings shall be liable on his official bond, and providing that suit shall be filed against the county and district attorney in such cases in any district court of Travis County, Texas.
SB 384 Caption: Relating to regulating the business of migratory shows; providing that all such shows and/or the persons engaged in such business shall comply with certain standards of health requirements; defining certain words and terms.
SB 432 Caption: Relating to providing for relief for the Hooks Independent School District of Bowie County, Texas, in order to aid said District in rebuilding its properties and equipping its school which was destroyed by fire on the 11th day of February, 1935.
SB 433 Caption: Relating to providing that any member of the State Highway Patrol of the State of Texas is authorized to arrest without warrant any person committing a violation of any of the motor bus, motor truck, highway or registration laws and that any member of the State Highway Patrol shall have authority to weigh a loaded vehicle or any empty vehicle that he has reasons to believe is not properly registered.

SB 41 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Highway Department, in conjunction with the Bureau of Public Roads, to expend, for a period of two years from and after the effective date of this Act, upon roads not a part of the system of State highways, funds specifically appropriated for expenditure on such roads under the National Industrial Recovery Act, passed by 73rd Congress June 16, 1933 Act of Congress June 18, 1934, (H.R. No. 3781), and Emergency Relief Appropriation Act, passed by 74th Congress on April 8, 1935.
SB 42 Caption: Relating to permitting the State Highway Department to expend upon roads not a part of the system of State highways, funds specifically appropriated for expenditure upon such roads under the National Industrial Recovery Act passed by the Seventy-third Congress, June 16, 1933, Act of Seventy-third Congress, June 18, 1934 (H. B. 8781), and Emergency Relief Appropriation Act, passed by the Seventy-fourth Congress, April 8, 1935.

SB 158 Caption: Relating to reducing the amount appropriated by the Regular Session of the 42nd Legislature in 1931, for hte payment of salaries of officers and employees of this State other than such salaries the amount of which is fixed by the Constitution, and more than 1,800 dollars per year; prohibiting the Comptroller from paying in excess of the amount fixed herein.
SB 209 Caption: Relating to providing the maximum and excess fees which all officers named herein shall be entitled to receive and retain and the disposition to be made of the remainder; fixing the maximum compensation to be paid deputies assistants and clerks and the manner in which same may be appointed and paid; providing that ex officio shall only be allowed after public hearing and upon the affirmative vote of at least three members of the Commissioners' Court; providing that this Act shall become effective on and after January 1, 1934
SB 210 Caption: Relating to fixing the maximum annual fees of office authorized to be retained by certain district, county and precinct officers named in certain statute.
SB 268 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to pay taxes for the years 1928 to 1932, inclusive, due certain Counties on lands owned by the Texas Prison System.
SB 296 Caption: Relating to regulating the production, sale, dispensation and other traffic in narcotic drugs as defined herein; prescribing offenses, fines, penalties and punishment.
SB 311 Caption: Relating to validating, confirming and approving the action of the governing bodies of all cities and towns of five thousand (5000) inhabitants or less in the addition or attempted addition of any territory adjoining the limits of any such city or town under and by virtue of certain statute.
SB 383 Caption: Relating to changing the budget by the Legislature or the county commissioners court.
SB 423 Caption: Relating to claim against the State of Texas arising by reason of mileage purported to have been traveled by fee officers and/or other persons traveling on State expense.
SB 435 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article of the Code of Criminal Procedure so as to provide that no officer shall collect any fees from the State of Texas, in any case, except murder, where a defendant may, under the indictment, be convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony with punishment assessed at a fine, jail sentence, or both such fine and imprisonment in jail, until after the case has been finally disposed of.
SB 436 Caption: Relating to providing that the bail bonds of an accused shall be conditioned that the principal and sureties will pay all expenses incurred by peace officers in re-arresting the principal in the event the conditions of the bond are violated and he fails to appear before the court or magistrate on the day stated.
SB 437 Caption: Relating to the duties of county attorneys; prescribing their compensation for representing the State, either alone or aiding the district attorney in the prosecution of felony cases, including habeas corpus hearings, where the realtor is charged with an offense of the grade of felony, in the district court.
SB 438 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article of the Code of Criminal Procedure so as to provide that when a district clerk fails, neglects or refuses to make any report required of such officer by the Attorney General, that the Attorney General shall notify in writing the Comptroller of Public Accounts of such failure, neglect or refusal, whereupon the Comptroller shall refuse to issue any warrant which may be due to such district clerk until such report is made.
SB 492 Caption: Relating to permitting the organization of fraternal benefit societies on a limited basis.
SB 517 Caption: Relating to prescribing the authority and duties of the county auditor with reference to books, accounts, reports, vouchers and other records of funds of common school districts of this State the disbursement of such funds.

SB 5 Caption: Relating to providing for the issuance of State Relief Bonds to be designated as Texas Relief Bonds, Third Series, in the sum of Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($9,500.00), under Section 51-a, Article 3 of the Constitution of the State of Texas; providing for penalties for making false statements or misrepresentation in order to secure money for relief.
SB 12 Caption: Relating to making certain emergency appropriations out of the general revenue of the State of Texas for certain State Eleemosynary Institutions for providing enlarged facilities for the care of additional patients and inmates and the maintenance and support in said institutions.
SB 18 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the sale of Barbituric Acid (Diethylbarbituric Acid) or derivatives and compounds thereof under any copyrighted or chemical names except to wholesale drug houses, chemical houses, hospitals and dispensing pharmacies or practicing physicians, dentist or veterinarian; prescribing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
SB 19 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation for the continuation of malaria control by the State Board of Health.

SB 14 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Fifteen Hundred ($1500.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of any money in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be used by the State Depository Board to pay rent for safety deposit boxes rented by the board from any bank located in the City of Austin for the purpose of depositing securities, where such obligations for rent have been incurred by the State Depository Board pursuant to certain statute.

SB 11 Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, payable out of the General Revenue and not otherwise appropriated, to pay the mileage of members, their per diem, and to pay the salaries and per diem of officers and employees of the 42nd Legislature of the State of Texas.
SB 12 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of the General Revenue of the State of Texas, to pay the Contingent expenses of the Regular Session of the 42nd Legislature of the State of Texas, providing how accounts may be approved.

SB 481 Caption: Relating to accepting the benefits and provisions of the Act of Congress authorizing the extension of Federal Aid for construction of toll bridges on the highways included in the Federal System, under certain conditions and limitations, 44 United States Statute 1398, approved March 3, 1927, to empower the Highway Commission of Texas to cooperate with the Federal Bureau of Roads in the Construction of such toll bridges under the provisions of said Act of Congress, including inter-state bridges, to appropriate and use State Highway Funds for such purpose and to levy and collect such tolls and to authorize the Highway Commission to cooperate and join with the appropriate authorities of an adjoining state in the construction of such bridges and in levying and collecting tolls and in carrying out the provisions of this Act and the said Act of Congress.
SB 545 Caption: Relating to creating a more efficient road system for Titus County, Texas.

SB 589 Caption: Relating to requiring every person, association or corporation who shall own, conduct or manage a day nursery, childrens' boarding home or child-placing agency or other place for the care or custody of children under fifteen years of age to obtain an annual license from the State Board of Health.
