45th Regular Session
HB 251 Caption: Relating to making certain emergency appropriations out of the General Fund of the State of Texas for the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium for Negroes for the remainder of the fiscal year, ending August 31, 1937, and prescribing certain regulations and restrictions in respect to the expenditure of said appropriations.
HB 463 Caption: Relating to extending for two years the Road Bond Assumption Law under which the State assumes interest and principal of county and district bonds, proceeds of which were used in construction of State highways, using one-fourth of gasoline tax.
HB 578 Caption: Relating to amendments by parties of their pleadings, filing suggestions of death, making representatives parties, making new parties, and filing such other pleas as they may desire.
HB 579 Caption: Relating to creating a School Land Board, to be composed of three members of the State Board of Education and providing for the sale and lease by said Board of all unsold lands set apart by the Constitution and the laws of Texas for the benefit of the Permanent School Fund, including escheated lands and lands otherwise recovered for the State, and the minerals therein and thereunder, and all the minerals in islands, lakes and bays, and other areas within tide water limits, and in the river beds and channels.
HB 580 Caption: Relating to establishing rules of evidence in suits to fix and locate boundaries to land where patent, grant or award has been issued by governmental authority.
HB 597 Caption: Relating to increasing the term of office for the members of the Live Stock Sanitary Commission of the State of Texas from two (2) to six (6) years so that one term of office will expire each two (2) years.
HB 611 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Highway Department, in conjunction with the Bureau of Public Roads, to expend, from and after July 1, 1937, upon roads not a part of the system of State Highways, funds appropriated for expenditure on such roads under the Hayden-Cartwright Act.
HB 642 Caption: Relating to dedicating and establishing the Big Bend National Park in Brewster County, Texas, and defining the area of said Park and creating a Board for the Acquisition of land within said area, and defining its powers and duties.
HB 814 Caption: Relating to authorizing the adoption of a County Unit System of Education for Counties having a certain population.
HB 940 Caption: Relating to making theft of wool or mohair or edible meat a felony; prescribing penalties therefor.
HB 1008 Caption: Relating to authorizing private corporations to be created for the purpose of providing for the registration, preservation of the purity of blood, and improvement in the breeding of any species or class of livestock, and to keep, maintain, and publish in suitable form the history, record, and pedigree thereof.
HB 1137 Caption: Relating to appropriating any and all unexpended balances remaining of that certain appropriation made by the Forty-fourth Legislature, Regular Session, 1935, for the location, establishment, erection, equipment, and completion of a Tuberculosis Sanatorium for Negroes to be known as the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium for Negroes.

HB 641 Caption: Relating to prohibting the taking of fish in Kimble, Kerr, Edwards, Real, Sutton, Bandera, Mason, Menard, Blanco, Llano, Kendall, or Gillespie Counties with any device equipped with more than than two hooks, except artificial bait used with a rod and reel and excepting a twenty (20) foot minnow seine for the purpose of taking minnows for bait; providing a penalty for any violation of this Act.
HB 885 Caption: Relating to authorizing Real County to issue certain warrants or other evidences of indebtedness and to declare the validity of certain indebtedness arising out of construction of State Highway No. 41, in the County of Real.
HB 990 Caption: Relating to requiring a hunting license of all those over seventeen years of age hunting in certain counties; requiring a fishing license of all those over seventeen years of age fishing in certain counties; fixing the fees for said licenses and the fee to be retained by the collecting officer
HB 1000 Caption: Relating to requiring a Hunting License of all those over seventeen (17) years of age hunting in certain Counties; requiring a Fishing License of all those over seventeen (17) years of age fishing in certain Counties; providing a penalty for hunting or fishing in certain Counties without obtaining the required Hunting or Fishing License.

HB 78 Caption: Relating to declaring the validity of certain indebtedness arising out of the construction of State Highway No. 41 in the County of Real.
HB 80 Caption: Relating to the conservation and development of lands in the State of Texas, pursuant to Section 59, of Article XVI of the State Constitution, declaring and providing that the growth of cedar upon lands is injurious to the value of such lands and the use thereof, and benefits to be derived therefrom and is, and constitutes, a public nuisance, and that the eradication of such growths of cedar constitutes a public benefit and use.

HB 51 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to pay taxes for the years 1933 and 1934, due certain counties on lands set apart for the endowment of the University of Texas, which are now unsold.

HB 33 Caption: Relating to granting to Glenn W. Smith of Mason, Mason County, Texas, permission to bring suit against the State of Texas and the State Highway Department in the District Court of Mason County, Texas, for damages sustained to his property and crops; providing that such suit may be filed within two years after this Act takes effect.

HB 588 Caption: Relating to providing for the investment of the permanent funds of the Texas School for the Blind, Texas School for the Deaf, Austin State Hospital, State Orphans' Home and other permanent funds in the investment of which is not otherwise provided for.
HB 652 Caption: Relating to authorizing and empowering Fraternal Benefit Societies to prescribe by their Constitution and By-laws such persons as are eligible to membership in their societies and authorizing such members to designated beneficiaries of their own choice.
HB 653 Caption: Relating to authorizing Fraternal Benefit Societies chartered and incorporated under the laws of the State of Texas to be the exclusive judge and qualification of their own members.
HB 760 Caption: Relating to the offense of murder, providing additional procedure for instructing the jury upon the trial of the offense of murder.
HB 761 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal code by providing that upon the trial of one charged with the offense mentioned there shall be an instruction defining malice aforethought and in a proper case, murder without malice; fixing the penalty for assault with intent to murder without malice.
HB 864 Caption: Relating to providing for the jurisdiction of the County Court of Kimble County, conferring upon said Court civil and criminal jurisdiction and increasing the criminal and civil jurisdiction of said Court.

HB 157 Caption: Relating to requiring drivers of certain vehicles to have and exhibit to peace officers upon demand written permit covering movements of livestock and domestic fowls contained therein, or to make written statement in the absence of said permit, and providing penalties.
