36th Regular Session
SB 11 Caption: Relating to requiring the owner, agent or lessee of any land or any present interest therein, on which any stream is located, in whole or in part, which overflows its banks and floods the land of other persons under cultivation, to keep the timber, underbrush and drifts cleared out of the channels and off the shoals of such creek, making the failure to do so a misdemeanor, and prescribing a penalty.
SB 12 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the maintenance and operation of pool halls within the State of Texas; creating and defining offenses in violation of this Act and prescribing the punishment therefor.
SB 13 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to abolish the position of pipe line expert, and to define the duties of the Railroad Commission in regard to assembling information to be used as a basis for making rates, levying a tax on crude oil produced, providing for the payment of certain expenses.
SB 36 Caption: Relating to amending certain statue and providing the manner in which State funds shall be kept and deposited; defining the State Depository Board and its powers, and what banks may become State depositories, and the manner and means of selecting and for the qualification of such State depositories, providing for the distribution of such State funds among such depositories.
SB 159 Caption: Relating to making an emergency appropriation for the further maintenance for the remainder of the regular session and for summer session of 1919 of the College of Industrial Arts.
SB 208 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute so as to limit the time in which certain persons may institute suit for the recovery of real estate; adding a new article so as to provide that a person having the peaceable and adverse possession of the land, tenements or hereditaments, the title to which has passed out of the State, using and enjoying same, under regular recorded chain of title for a period of twenty-five years, shall be conclusively presumed to have a good marketable and incontestable title thereto, that abstracts showing such facts shall be deemed a complete abstract of the title to such land.
SB 254 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute so as to provide for the collection of inheritance taxes, fixing compensation therefor.
SB 255 Caption: Relating to amending certain Act creating a State Council of Defense so as to extend the period of its existence for six months after a final treaty of peace has been signed and published.
SB 256 Caption: Relating to prohibiting commissioners' courts from issuing warrant, negotiable or non-negotiable, interest bearing or non-interest bearing, or from otherwise contracting debts against the courthouse and jail fund, or the road and bridge fund, of their respective counties in excess of the estimated receipts in the year for which such warrants or evidence of indebtedness are issued, and declaring all contracts undertaking to create any indebtedness against any such fund in excess of the estimated receipts to accrue for that year to such fund to be illegal and void; making county commissioners and county judges violating this act liable for the payment of any such indebtedness and for any amount illegally paid on such indebtedness.
SB 290 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute so as to provide that the dissolution of a corporation shall not operate to abate any pending suit and so as to provide that suit may be maintained against the president, directors, general manager, trustee, or assignee of such corporation and providing that assets of said corporation shall be subject to the payment of judgments.
SB 312 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute so as to further provide for the collection of inheritance taxes, the making of reports concerning estates subject to taxation, the fixing of penalties, prescribing duties and fixing compensation of District and County Attorneys and County Judges.
SB 318 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute to provide the manner in which State funds shall be kept and deposited; defining the State Depository Board and its powers, and what banks may become State depositories, and the manner and means of selecting and for the qualification of such State depositories, providing for the distribution of such State funds among such depositories.
SB 366 Caption: Relating to repealing certain laws providing the management and control of the schools of the City of Bowie shall be vested in the board of the Bowie Independent School District.
SB 388 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes so as to provide the manner in which mineral lands shall be advertised and leased, fixing royalties and compensation for the use of the surface.
SJR 1 Caption: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution abolishing the office of County Treasurer.
SJR 2 Caption: Proposing an amendment to the State Constitution authorizing the levy of a special tax of not exceeding seventy-five cents on the one hundred dollars valuation for the improvement and maintenance of public roads.
SJR 19 Caption: Proposing an amendment providing for local option taxes for the improvement and maintenance of public roads.

SB 9 Caption: Relating to providing the method of remitting State funds to State depositories and the State Treasury.
SB 10 Caption: Relating to validating sales of public free school land made on October 22, 1903, in qualities not exceeding forty acres, and same have been fully paid for.

SB 61 Caption: Relating to providing that no property encumbered by certain liens shall be set aside to the widow or children as exempt property, or appropriated to make up the allowances in lieu of exempt property, or for a year's support, until the debts secured by such liens are first discharged.
SB 84 Caption: Relating to conferring upon the Railroad Commission the power to require the owners or operators of railroads within the State to arrange, rearrange or re-locate their railroad tracts and depot buildings for safety reasons; providing procedure for such requirements.
SB 85 Caption: Relating to declaring what counties compose the Sixteenth Judicial district of Texas.

SB 55 Caption: Relating to conferring upon the Railroad Commission of Texas the power to require persons owning or operating railroads withing the State of Texas to rearrange or relocate their railroad tracks and depot buildings at stations when and where the safety of the public may require such rearrangement.
SB 61 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas to employ not less than three lecturers from among the registered nurses of the State to visit the different high schools, colleges and Universities of the State to arouse a greater interest among young women in the profession of nursing.

HB 533 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute making an appropriation to cover current expenses for Experimental Substation No. 6, located in Denton County, Texas, for the fiscal year ending August 31, 1915.
HB 585 Caption: Relating to conferring upon the Railroad Commission the power to require railroad companies to arrange or re-arrange their tracks and buildings where the safety of the public may require such arrangement or rearrangement.
HB 624 Caption: Relating to preventing owners, drivers and persons in charge of automobiles, cabs or other vehicles from making and collecting excessive charges; prescribing penalties.
HJR 6 Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing the levy of a special road tax.
