31st Regular Session
SB 18 Caption: Relating to declaring void the sale or transfer of portions of stocks of merchandise otherwise than in the ordinary course of trade in the usual and regular prosecution of the seller's or transferrer's business, and sales or transfers of entire stocks of merchandise in bulk unless made in compliance with certain named conditions and regulations, and prescribing such conditions and regulations, according to which such sales may be made valid.
SB 24 Caption: Relating to creating a State Banking Board; providing for a depositor's guaranty fund under the supervision of said board; providing penalties.
SB 36 Caption: Relating to establishing a school of Technology and Agriculture for the instruction of white persons in the branches of mechanical, electrical, civil, textile and mining engineering, engineering chemistry, agriculture, mechanical arts, and the natural sciences connected therewith, at Weatherford upon conditions named.
SB 40 Caption: Relating to providing for compulsory attendance upon the public, private and parochial schools of children between the ages of seven and seventeen. Authorizing Commissioner's Courts to make appropriations to reimburse indigent families for loss of time, or wages of children while in school; furnishing clothing and text books.
SB 46 Caption: Relating to amending Article 402 of Chapter 6, Title XI, Penal Code, as amended by Chapter 40 of the Acts of the Twenty-eighth Legislature, relating to unlawfully selling any intoxicating liquor, prescribing punishment.
SB 51 Caption: Relating to providing for the revising, digesting and publishing the laws, Civil and Criminal, of the State of Texas.
SB 54 Caption: Relating to the establishment, maintenance and government of a state normal school , to be locate at Thorp's Spring, and be known as the Brazos Valley Normal.
SB 57 Caption: Relating to putting into effect the Constitutional Amendment adopted by the people at the last general election, relating to public schools, by amending Sections and adding 154a, of Chapter 124 of the Acts of the Regular Session of the 29th Legislature, relating to school districts and school funds.
SB 153 Caption: Relating to providing for the creation, establishment, and maintenance of a state education fund for the benefit, maintenance, support and direction of certain colleges and institutes and for the payment of scholarships to said normal schools; providing that a certain part of the ad valorem tax shall be for said purpose.

SB 211 Caption: Relating to amending Chapter 22 of Title 39 of the Revised Civil Statutes of 1895, by amending Article 2125 of said chapter, relating to citations in the sale of land by executors or administrators of the estates of decedents.
SB 212 Caption: Relating to amending Chapter 5, Title 51 of the Revised Civil Statutes of 1895, by amending Article 2588, relating to the appointment of guardians.
SB 241 Caption: Relating to creating a county board of education, prescribing the time and manner of selecting same.

SB 211 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for a parent to desert or abandon helpless and dependent minor children, and making it unlawful for a husband to desert or abandon his wife when she is in a needy condition, and is dependent upon others for food, clothing and nursing, etc., and providing punishment for such offenses.
SB 221 Caption: Relating to providing that certain corporations may increase the number of directors or trustees to twenty-five.
SB 248 Caption: Relating to permitting incorporation of auditing companies.
SB 257 Caption: Relating to owners of lots purchased from a cemetery corporation becoming members thereof.
SB 261 Caption: Relating to appropriating $10,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose of experimenting with the view of discovering some means of destroying the green bugs or apias or other insects now destroying the growing grain crops in Texas, said appropriation to be under the control of the Commissioner of Insurance, Statistics and History, and said investigations to be made under his direction by the entomologists of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas.
SB 274 Caption: Relating to providing for revising, digesting and publishing the laws, civil and criminal, of the State of Texas.
SB 278 Caption: Relating to providing that all private car companies owning refrigerator, ventilation or stock cars and all other companies owning, leasing or hiring any freight or passenger cars of any kind or character under any contract or agreement of rental or hire, are hereby declared to be aids to the common carrier and shall be subject to all the rules and regulations applying to cars and belonging to any railroad company or common carrier employing or using the cars and equipment of any such aids to the carrier.
SB 286 Caption: Relating to creating the Sixty-seventh Judicial District of the State of Texas, fixing the times for holding the district courts in Tarrant County, Texas, and defining the jurisdiction thereof.
