United States Army Air Corps, Captain, World War II. "A retired captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps, Mr. Rosson served his state and nation proudly and earned the Purple Heart for his role in the European Theater during World War II." 76th Legislature, R.S., HCR 47. Resolutions - Memorial.
"From 1942 to 1945, he served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Captain, where he received the Purple Heart, five Oak Leaf Clusters, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and the European Theatre Medal."
