"He had originally moved to Austin when elected by the citizens of Port Arthur, Jefferson County, to the first of three terms in Texas House of Representatives. He served in the 43rd, 44th and 45th Sessions of the Legislature. Mr. McKee is believed to have been the oldest surviving member of the House at the time of his death . . .
