HB 50 Caption: Relating to authorizing the School Land Board to grant permits for Geological Surveys or investigations on lands or other areas on which said Board is empowered to authorize the execution of leases for mineral development; to fix the terms and conditions of all such permits; providing penalties.
HB 162 Caption: Relating to authorizing and directing the Texas Prison Board to sell, transfer, and convey to the State of Texas for the benefit of the Permanent Public Free School Fund certain lands, providing for negotiations for the sale and transfer of such lands, providing for the sale of such lands to Veterans of World War II, making an appropriation.
HB 255 Caption: Relating to providing for the erection of a suitable monument and memorial to commemorate the soldiers of the Confederacy from Texas taking part in the Battle and in the Siege of Vicksburg; making an appropriation.
HB 265 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, relating to providing that a portion of a general pension fund for city employees shall be set aside and made a part of the Firemen's Relief and Retirement Fund.

HB 628 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Thirty Million Dollars ($30,000,000) out of the General Revenue Fund for the biennium beginning September 1, 1947, to the State Highway Department of Texas for the purpose of opening, improving and maintaining Farm-To-Market roads, providing for the expenditure of said funds on Farm-To-Market roads.
HB 629 Caption: Relating to creating a Bureau of Controlled Surveying and Mapping for the State of Texas.
HJR 16 Caption: Relating to proposing a constitutional amendment to provide that the Legislature shall have the power to provide assistance and to provide for the payment of same to needy aged persons over the age of sixty-five years, needy blind persons over the age of twenty-one, and needy children under the age of sixteen years, who are citizens of the United States and are residents of the State of Texas.

HB 223 Caption: Relating to repealing certain Articles by providing that the Commissioner of the General Land Office may have not more than 1500 copies of Supplemental Abstracts of patented, titled and surveyed lands printed and bound for distribution and providing that the Commissioner of the General Land Office shall have the authority to sell and distribute the undisposed of Volumes and Abstracts provided for in Chapter 291, Acts of the 47th Legislature, 1941.
HB 289 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes providing for taxing for county purposes only of State farms employing convict labor so as to cover and include common and independent school districts.
HB 603 Caption: Relating to providing for the centralization of the Texas Prison System.
HB 823 Caption: Relating to authorizing and directing the Texas Prison Board to sell, transfer, and convey to the State of Texas for the benefit of the Permanent Public Free School Fund certain lands; making an appropriation.
