HB 160 Caption: Relating to providing for the protection of unborn children and the public health by an Act requiring standard serologic blood tests for syphilis on pregnant women; providing a saving clause and prescribing a penalty.
HB 176 Caption: Relating to providing for the development of aeronautics within this State; creating a State Aeronautics Commission and the office of Director of Aeronautics; prescribing penalties; making an appropriation.
HB 411 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing for an occupation tax from telegraph companies and the time and method of collecting the same.
HB 479 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that in all counties now or hereafter having the office of County Superintendent where the scholastic population according to the last scholastic census is less than three thousand (3,000) but more than two thousand (2,000) that the office shall continue until a majority of the voters at an election shall vote to abolish such office.
HB 559 Caption: Relating to reorganizing the Ninety-Seventh Judicial District of the State of Texas; providing for holding the District Courts and terms in said Judicial District; repealing all conflicting laws.
HB 707 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation for the purpose of matching bounties paid by the several Counties of the State of Texas for the killing of wolves and/or other predatory animals.
HJR 64 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to provide that the Legislature, at any biennial session, or at any called session, where the Governor by his proclamation shall state specifically that the Legislature is convened to propose Amendments to the Constitution, by a vote or two-thirds, to be entered by yeas and nays on the journal, may propose Amendments to the Constitution to be voted upon by the qualified electors for members of the Legislature.

HB 65 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that each of the parties entering into a contract of marriage in Texas be thoroughly examined by a physician legally licensed to practice medicine in Texas, who at the time of said examination caused to be made of specimens taken from such persons standard serological tests and such other laboratory procedures as are essential to the determination of freedom from syphilis and all other venereal diseases; providing penalties for violation of provisions of the Act.
HB 104 Caption: Relating to aiding Archer and Clay Counties, in laying out, constructing and reconstructing public roads and highways and bridges in the various commissioners' precincts of said counties, to aid in projects sponsored by said counties, in cooperation with Federal Works Progress Administration or its successors, and for general relief and rehabilitation purposes; providing a penalty for misappropriation of moneys donated.
HB 482 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes relative to the sale of real estate by guardians and prescribing the terms of sale and requisites of orders directing the sale of real estate and requiring bond.
HB 483 Caption: Relating to providing for a closed season on wild turkey in Archer County for a period of two (2) years; prescribing penalties for the violation of this Act.
HB 495 Caption: Relating to reorganizing the Ninety-seventh Judicial District of the State of Texas; providing for holding the District Courts and terms in said Judicial District.
HB 496 Caption: Relating to authorizing the allowances of traveling expenses for members of the Commissioners' Court in certain counties.
HB 541 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing for appointment by the Governor of an Industrial Commission, composed of five (5) members, to hear and make reports on controversies between employers and employees.
HB 597 Caption: Relating to providing that the State of Texas shall hereafter be governed by Mountain War Time instead of Central War Time, until such time as the United States Government shall abolish War Time and thereafter it shall revert to Central Standard Time; and repealing all laws in conflict with this Act.
HB 750 Caption: Relating to providing for the apportionment of the payment of expenses and salaries of the official Court reporters in all Judicial Districts having more than one county.
HB 766 Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of $10,000.00 or so much thereof as may be necessary to rebuild the high school destroyed by fire at Joy, Clay County, Texas.
HJR 7 Caption: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Texas providing for a Supreme Court of nine members, and for continuous session of that Court.
HJR 26 Caption: Proposing an amendment exempting Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) of the assessed taxable value of all rural and urban homesteads, as now defined by law, from all taxes levied or collected by the State of Texas or by political sub-divisions of the State of Texas.
HJR 27 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to the Constitution of the State of Texas, so as to provide that the House of Representatives shall not exceed two hundred (200) in number, and that no county shall have over seven Representatives until said county reaches the population of seven hundred thousand (700,000), in which event, it shall be entitled to one member for each additional one hundred thousand (100,000) inhabitants.

HB 79 Caption: Relating to amending the Revised Civil Statutes relative to providing that each of the parties entering into a contract of marriage in Texas be thoroughly examined by a physician to determine freedom from syphilis and all other venereal diseases; establishing certain laboratory procedures; establishing certain procedures for county clerks issuing marriage licenses; providing penalties for violation of provisions of this Act.
HB 119 Caption: Relating to creating a Commission to be known as Oil and Gas Commission; providing for the appointment of members by the Governor; withdrawing all of the powers, duties, jurisdiction, and authority of the Railroad Commission and conferring them upon the Oil and Gas Commission.
HB 631 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act making Clay County eligible to the provisions of this Act regarding elections as to whether domestic turkeys shall be permitted to run at large.
47th 1st Called Session
HB 14 Caption: Relating to creating a Special Road Law for Clay County providing that said County may fund or refund the indebtedness outstanding against its Road and Bridge Fund as of August 1, 1941, by the issuance of funding bonds.
HB 36 Caption: Relating to reorganizing the 30th, 90th, and 97th Judicial Districts of the State of Texas; providing for holding the District Courts and terms in said Judicial Districts respectively.

HB 711 Caption: Relating to providing a more adequate and equitable salary of County Superintendents of Public Instruction.
