HB 199 Caption: Relating to making appropriation of certain sums of money, or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of the General Revenue Fund to pay taxes due by the State to a certain independent school district.
HB 211 Caption: Relating to abolishing the death penalty in Texas and providing that no person may be given the death penalty upon conviction of any offense against the laws of this State.
HB 270 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Board of Directors of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas to establish and maintain a Tomato Disease Laboratory and Agricultural Experiment Station at some point within the limits of Cherokee County in the State of Texas for the purpose of making scientific investigations and experiments in the production of tomatoes, cotton, corn, livestock, fruit trees, and other farm crops; providing a saving clause.
HB 372 Caption: Relating to authorizing the transfer of the title to 20-3/10 acres of land, more or less, from the Rusk State Hospital to the Texas State Railroad with full authority to lease or dispose of it as plant sites for industries located on said Railroad by its Board of Managers, or Manager, that said Railroad does not own land on its right of way suitable for plant sites to its great loss in revenue.
HB 523 Caption: Relating to authorizing the conveyance by the State Board of Control of the State of Texas of certain land for the purpose of constructing blast furnaces, iron foundries and any and all other improvements for the purpose of developing the iron ore deposits in the vicinity of Rusk in Cherokee County, Texas.
HJR 22 Caption: Proposing an amendment providing that Members of the Legislature shall receive a salary of Ten Dollars ($10) per day, shall be subject to call at any time and shall be entitled to mileage at five cents (5ยข) a mile for each mile traveled coming to and going from the seat of Government.

HB 110 Caption: Relating to creating and dedicating a State Park known as Jim Hogg Memorial Park in Cherokee County, two (2) miles Northeast of the Town of Rusk.
HB 111 Caption: Relating to amending the Revised Civil Statutes relative to administrative provisions enacted for the allocation of funds from Gasoline Tax.

HB 1040 Caption: Relating to fixing the maximum rate of tax to be levied for school purposes in certain independent school districts.
HB 1057 Caption: Relating to providing an open season for quail for a certain period of time in Cherokee County.
HJR 3 Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment providing that unless there shall be attached to each bill appropriating money when presented to the Governor, a certificate under oath executed by the Comptroller of Public Accounts stating that in the opinion of the Comptroller, the cash from the current revenues of the State not otherwise appropriated will be adequate and available to pay the sums appropriated when due, if such bill shall not become a law.

HB 9 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statutes with reference to administrative provisions enacted for the allocation of funds from Gasoline Tax to provide for the eligibility of defined Road Districts to participate in the distribution of moneys coming into the County and Road District Highway Fund for the payment of bonds voted by such Road District prior to January 2, 1939.
