  • Retirement of the deficit in the State Treasury existing for the present fiscal year ending August 31, 1959, by the enactment of sufficient revenue raising measures [Thu May 14, 1959]
  • Appropriations for general State services authorized under existing law or Acts of the 56th Legislature, Regular Session for the biennium beginning September 1, 1959, and ending August 31, 1961, and to provide sufficient new revenue to finance such appropriations.   • Provide for adequate procedures for the custody, reporting and escheat of property to which the State is entitled under present laws and amendments relating thereto [Thu May 14, 1959]
