Relating to the improvement of the Medical Practice Act by expanding the definition of medical peer review committees and grounds for discipline, adding a definition of peer review, mandating reporting to the board, strengthening the confidential and privileged nature of peer review proceedings, enhancing the immunities providing for those participating in peer review, and providing funding for enforcement from fees and charges collected.
