Acknowledging the 30th Anniversary of the struggle for unity, freedom, and democracy by the city of Berlin and express support for the eventual realization by Berliners of these fundamental aspirations; providing for a copy of this resolution to be prepared for the Honorable Gershon Canaan, consul of the Federal Republic of Germany and a native Berliner, as a token of esteem for the citizens of Berlin from the 64th Legislature of the State of Texas.
